Please take some time to review some of our Frequently Asked Questions below:

Can I listen to a demo mix / see you in action?

You can check out live footage from events here and here. You can listen to our music mixes here.

How long have you been doing this and how did you become a DJ?

I have always been fascinated with my father’s record collection. As a kid I would spend hours with him just listening and learning music. I started DJing in 1995 after working for several record labels. I began djing in clubs in the Los Angeles area and later graduated to performing at wedding events.

Do you perform at more than one event in a day?

No I do not. I have learned that no matter how dedicated I am to providing great service for client A, I would be also thinking about client B. My focus would be divided and that is not fair to either client.

Will I have control over what music is played at my wedding?

Absolutely! I work closely with you in the months leading up to your wedding to select the right music for your wedding with as much or as little input as you want. You can browse our music catalog here

Do you bring backup equipment?

Yes! I carry backup equipment which consists of a portable battery generator and mini console with all your essential music on a flashdrive and in the cloud and hard drive to use in case of main system failure so your party goes on uninterrupted should the power go out.

What sets you apart from all the other DJs out there?

I am very passionate about weddings because my own wedding suffered as a result of hiring the wrong dj! I still vividly remember the feeling I had when I was told my DJ left the wedding. That painful memory haunts me all the time. It showed me how important a trustworthy and reliable wedding dj is to your wedding day.

Will you be the DJ playing at our wedding?

I am the DJ/Owner of Nateboogee Entertainment. You are guaranteed to meet and work with me, so you know exactly what you are getting from your first contact to the last song is played. I do not use any bait and switch tactics nor will you have to go through a DJ company trying to play “matchmaker” to figure out who “best matches your style” when the truth is they are trying to fill the company roster with whoever is available.

What is your policy on alcohol or smoking during the wedding?

Short Answer: Never have, never will. Your wedding is a celebration and you paid for a professional to direct it. My reputation and livelihood depend on giving you my very best at your wedding.

Will I have control over what music is played at my wedding?

Absolutely! I work closely with you in the months leading up to your wedding to select the right music for your wedding with as much or as little input as you want. You can browse our music catalog here.

What time will you arrive at my wedding?

Does that rate include setup and breakdown between ceremony and reception locations? What, if anything, isn't included?

Do you take credit cards and do you have a payment plan?

This all sounds so wonderful but I am also worried we won’t be able to afford this.

You can’t afford not to have us! Have you ever attended a wedding that was boring? Where guests did not dance? Where the DJ announcing the bride and groom had no clue how to pronounce their names? How many times did the bride or groom or both have to walk over to the DJ booth to complain? How many guests complained? I can guarantee you don’t want that to be your wedding day experience! The DJ can absolutely make or break your wedding. With so much of the your wedding depending upon the entertainment, it is very important to make the most informed decision possible.
